We are seeking a dynamic Administrative Director to oversee the administrative operations of our organisation across multiple states. The Administrative Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our programs and supporting our mission to improve education outcomes for children in government schools.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Administration to oversee the administrative operations of our organisation across multiple states. The Director of Administration will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our programs and supporting our mission to improve education outcomes for children in government schools.


Key Responsibilities but not limited to:


Administrative Leadership:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the administrative team, ensuring alignment with the organisation's mission and objectives.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies, procedures, and systems to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the administrative department.


Program Support:

  • Collaborate with Field Supervisors to ensure the effective implementation of education initiatives in government schools across multiple states.
  • Coordinate administrative support for program activities, including budget management, procurement, and logistics.


Human Resources Management:


  • Oversee the human resources function, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development of staff.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and organisational policies related to employment practices.


Financial Management:

  • Work closely with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and expenditure reports.
  • Implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard organisational assets and ensure transparency and accountability.


Stakeholder Engagement:


  • Build and maintain relationships with government officials, partner organisations, and other stakeholders to support program objectives and foster collaboration.
  • Represent the organisation in meetings, conferences, and events related to education and administrative matters.


Compliance and Risk Management:


  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, contractual agreements, and donor guidelines.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to administrative operations and program implementation.

Qualifications:


  • Total work experiences of at least 8 Years
  • Proven experience (2 - 3 years) in a senior administrative role, preferably in the non-profit sector (Education Fellowships/Education NGOs)
  • Experience in implementing education programs or initiatives, particularly in collaboration with government schools.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, resource mobilisation, and scaling organisational impact.
  • Experience in establishing or strengthening administrative systems, processes, and structures to support organisational growth and sustainability.
  • Ability to cultivate a positive organisational culture, foster teamwork, and empower young staff members to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Sound knowledge of financial management principles and experience managing budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
  • Willingness to travel
