Job Title: Web Developer
Location: Guwahati
Employment Type: Contractual (3 Months)
Role Summary:
Web Developer will be responsible to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our website in alignment with the organisational vision. The role is execution-driven and requires close collaboration with the Communications team to ensure the website reflects the organisation’s vision, sector, and modern communication style.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & update organisational website as per the need.
Work primarily on Wix-based websites (layout, content, and structure updates).
Implement changes using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript where required.
Ensure mobile responsiveness, usability, and visual consistency.
Fix bugs and support basic website performance optimisation.
Assist with basic SEO practices (meta tags, page structure, optimisation basics).
Maintain basic documentation and backups related to website updates.
Required Skills & Experience:
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
Experience with Wix or any CMS platform
Basic understanding of e-commerce websites
Ability to execute assigned tasks within defined timelines
Comfortable working in a contractual, delivery-oriented role
Design & Collaboration Expectations:
Creative mindset with a modern, clean design sensibility
Ability to adapt website design and layout based on the education / social sector
Strong collaborative approach, working closely with the Communications team
to align content, design, and messaging with organisational vision
Eligibility:
• Candidates with prior hands-on experience, internships, or strong personal/portfolio projects.
• Must be based in or willing to work from Guwahati as per the defined office schedule.
Compensation:
Upto 25,000/- Per month
