Job Title: District Supervisor

Location: Charaideo

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Summary:

The District Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and driving the reform and execution of the Akshar Education Model across five government schools in the Charaideo district of Assam. The role involves close collaboration with school heads, Akshar’s leadership, and field-level coordinators to understand on-ground needs and ensure the effective rollout of planned educational initiatives.





Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and oversee the reform and implementation of the Akshar Education Model in 5 Government Schools in Charaideo District of Assam
  • Collaborate with the School Heads, Leadership Team at Akshar, Akshar Coordinators in Charaideo to understand requirements and plan the activities in the School for the implementation of the Akshar Program
  • Supervise a team of 5 Akshar Coordinators and 10 Junior Social Workers to ensure smooth implementation of the Akshar Education Model in the Government Schools
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to Plan and strategize for the implementation of the program in the Government Schools
  • Build and maintain good relations with the School Heads, Government Teachers and Staff, Government Officials and other stakeholders



Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduation/ Postgraduate
  • Minimum 3-4 years of work experience 
  • Preferably experienced working in a school, educational program, or NGO.
  • Experience in Teacher Training
  • Proficiency in English and Assamese (spoken, written, and reading).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and report preparation.
