Job Title: Cluster Coordinator

Location: Sivasagar, Assam

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Summary:

The Cluster Coordinator will be responsible for supervising and driving the reform and implementation of the Akshar Education Model across five government schools in Sivasagar district, Assam. This role involves close collaboration with school heads, Akshar’s leadership team, and field coordinators to understand on-ground needs and ensure the effective execution of planned educational initiatives.



Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and supervise the implementation of the Akshar Education Model in 5 government schools in Sivasagar district.

Collaborate with school heads, Akshar’s leadership team, and coordinators to identify requirements and plan school-level activities.

Lead and manage a team of 5 Schools Coordinators and 10 Schools Assistant to ensure smooth program implementation.

Work closely with the senior leadership team to plan and strategize for successful program rollout.

Build and maintain strong relationships with school heads, government teachers, officials, and other key stakeholders.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduation/ Postgraduate.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experienced in schools, educational programs, or NGOs will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in teacher training is desirable.
  • Proficiency in English and Assamese (spoken, written, and reading).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
